I’ve decided (for a while now actually) that it’s about time that I started to use up my skincare. As let’s be honest, it’s not ‘cheap stuff’ is it, and I have lots of it to go through. So if you’re an avid skincare lover (like myself) or someone who enjoys reading about different types of skincare products and (most importantly) what affect they have on our skin then you’ll love my upcoming blog posts.
Truthfully, this was a very fortunate choice for me, as my skin was overdue a good buff and polish in order to remove all those nasty no’s that it had accrued due to either climate change, or anything in general!
Up until now nearly every exfoliator I have ever used has always left my skin feeling either scratched, irritated, scorned or just in general very sore. And although Kiehls’ formulation does include the little micro beads which tend to leave skin feeling this way, for me, this was a completely opposite experience.
Unlike other brands, the Kiehls’ exfoliator micro beads were only noticeable to me, when it came to buffing the product into the skin. And although the beads did ‘their thang’ I would never say it was an uncomfortable feeling, but instead more of a cleansing and purifying experience, which most certainly did the trick, but left my skin feeling so much brighter and more skin-like in the process.
Once it came to rinsing, the gel exfoliator removed very easily, leaving my skin feeling fresh, pure, clean, smooth but most importantly, loved.
